The key responsibilities of a Nurse include but are not limited to:

• To work as part of a team maintaining professional standards of care in accordance with the policies and procedures laid down by Abbeyfield Ballachulish Society.
• To assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual care plans for clients and, where appropriate, individual programmes of nursing care ensuring the delivery of high standards of care to clients and their families.
• To continually improve care pathways for clients, their carers and families in conjunction with other statutory and voluntary services.
• To promote independence, individual potential, dignity and interests of clients at all times.
• To maintain daily contact with clients, their families and friends, facilitating social activities and promoting involvement in all appropriate aspects of care.
